I received a candle, a mug and some hemp socks. I absolutely love them! The uniqueness of each design is beautiful, the mug is the perfect size for a cuppa and the design on it is stunning, the candle smells amazing and knowing I’m not burning any toxic fragrances/chemicals in my home makes the experience even better, and the socks are cosy made from hemp & dyed with plants without the use of chemicals! I genuinely love them and feel so grateful to have received them.

I met Mikayla of Oshala Earthforms at a market and immediately knew she was passionate about our earth like I am. I’m much older and it’s so heartening to meet young people who not only care but want to share their EARTH creativity with others. Looking after this world is in young people’s hands. I fell in love with her eco printed garments. How clever to immortalise natural materials like fossils for us to wear! I was privileged to attend a workshop on the Central Coast a few months ago. Much preparation had been gone into and the day seemingly flowed from one amazing printing activity to another. It was great to learn the processes, be surrounded by visual beauty and be with like minded creatives!  Her pottery is created with reverence and honour for the ground the clay came from- it has raw natural beauty. I treasure my Chai cup.

I recently attended Oshala Earthforms natural dyeing workshop led by the lovely Mikayla.  This was an immersive and hands-on experience where I learnt a great deal on the art & science of natural dyeing and how you can use natural materials to create beautiful colours. The day began with a mindful meditation that I found grounding & it created a strong sense of well-being amongst the group. During the workshop there were opportunities to observe & learn, whilst also having the time to create your own unique piece. I would highly recommend attending this workshop as it was a pleasurable experience that cultivated a strong sense of joy & accomplishment.
